Wolfline Transit System
Wolfline is NC State's bus service which is tailored to student
class schedules, but also serves the general public fare-free. Wolfline
buses operate every day classes are in session, serving all three
campuses, two park
& ride lots, official NCSU housing and privately-owned apartment
complexes located on city streets traveled by Wolfline buses on
the way to or from these areas.
No university ID, pass, or fare is required to ride! Buses are
red and white with black pinstriping and are identified by this
paint scheme along with the Wolfline logo lettering.
Wolfline buses travel along designated routes and only stop at
designated, marked Wolfline stops; some of which are shared stops
with city (CAT) and regional (TT) transit providers. A few routes
are designated as "limited stop;" please review the Wolfline
online routes and timetables.
Wolfline provides bus service:
- for students, staff and faculty after they arrive on Main Campus.
- for students, staff and faculty who do not have parking permits
and use Wolfline park & ride lots.
- for students, staff and faculty who travel between campuses
(Centennial Campus and the Centennial Biomedical Campus - College
of Veterinary Medicine).
- for students who live in official University Housing.
- for the general public living/commuting along Wolfline routes.
