Fall permits are mailed directly to the student address provided at the time of purchase.

What if I purchase my permit after the fall semester starts?
Pick up your permit at the Transportation office.

  • Freshman

Freshmen may purchase permits and bring vehicles to campus. Resident freshmen may purchase a resident storage "RS" or resident perimeter "RP" permit if spaces are not available in your choice area. Commuting freshmen may purchase a Varsity Lot "V" commuter parking permit.

  • RS

    Resident Student Storage Lot Permits

Resident students who don't need daily access to a vehicle are encouraged to purchase an "RS" storage permit. This permit is not recommended for students who require quick access to their vehicle (i.e., off-campus jobs), but for students who want access to their vehicles on weekends or trips home. The storage lot is served by the Wolfline bus.

  • Commuter Student Carpool Permits

Commuter students with similar class schedules can purchase a student carpool "SCP" permit and split the cost of the permit.

    The benefits of carpooling include:

    • cost savings on gas and parking permits,
    • improved parking options, and
    • a limited number of free daily parking permits for days individuals need to drive separately.

Explore student carpooling and apply through WolfTrails.

  • Greek Village Permits

Students who are members of a fraternity or sorority at Greek Village may purchase a "P" permit online in July and follow the same procedure as all other student permit purchases.

  • Summer Student Permits

When can I purchase my summer "S" permit if I do not have a permit?
Early May; you can purchase online and pick up your permit at the Transportation office. After mid-June, purchase in person at the Transportation office. Permits are readily available.

    Summer Permit Cost?
Permits are $80 if purchased early summer and cost is prorated later in the summer. Summer permits expire mid-August.

  • Evening Student Permits

Evening students may purchase an "L" permit online in July and follow the same procedure as all other student permit purchases.
