Summer Permits

Summer permits will be available for online sale in May (usually the first Monday after Spring graduation). Most permits are available. The price is prorated and permits are valid through the rest of the academic year (mid-August).

Note: Students who currently have a valid NC State parking permit do not need to purchase a summer parking permit, unless they wish to upgrade for the summer. To upgrade, you MUST turn in your current permit at the Transportation office and pay the difference in cost of the permit. Upgrades will be available after the last exam day.

Payment Information

Pay online. For more information about the online permit purchasing system, visit the online payment instruction Web page.

How to Pick Up Your Permit

Permits will be available for pick up two business days after purchase at the Transportation office, Administrative I, 2721 Sullivan Drive.

Bring your student identification. Someone else can pick up your permit for you, but they must present your student ID.

Please Note:

If you purchase your permit online on Sunday night, your permit will not be ready for pickup until Tuesday in order to allow processing time.
