Parking Safety Reminder

Welcome to the Wolf Pack family!

We're like a small city
We are pleased to have you as part of our community. It's important to understand we are part of a greater community that exceeds 60,000 people.

In a community this large, it is especially important to look out for each other. We need your help to maintain a safe and secure environment.

Help us to keep you and your vehicle safe!
Even though our parking lots meet or exceed nationally recognized lighting standards and we utilitize every possible means of protecting your vehicle while parked in our facilities, there are five simple steps you can take to reduce your chance of becoming a target:

1) ALWAYS lock your doors (in your room and vehicle).

2) Don't leave valuables in plain sight. (A thief has to see something they want! This applies to your personal items and/or your vehicle).

3) Secure your valuables in the trunk of the vehicles or take them with you. (if you have an after-market sterior system with a detachable faceplate, remove it and take it with you).

4) If you use your vehicle infrequently, schedule time to periodically check and move to another location within your parking zone.

5) Plan your return from perimeter lots; know your bus schedules (evening as well as daytime), or arrange a ride with a friend.

Following these simple rules can help you fully enjoy all the wonderful activities and experiences NC State has to offer!

Be "neighborly" - Report any suspicious activity to Campus Police: 515-3000
