Event Parking
Events, camps and conferences are
an integral part of the campus environment. To ensure a successful
conference or event, contact
Carl Mcgill, Sr. at 515-1600 for parking and traffic arrangements
as soon as you begin to plan your event . An online
event parking request may also be submitted prior to making telephone
contact.
Permits are available for $2 per vehicle, per day. Parking is
limited to specific areas based on space availability, the time
of year, other events, and construction projects. Early contact
with Transportation is critical.
Parking permits are necessary to park on all NC State
campuses from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. The resident
student parking areas ("RE", "RW") are enforced 7 a.m. to Midnight,
Monday through Thursday; and 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday. Areas designated
as "No Parking," reserved, or handicapped (accessible) are enforced
at all times.
Loading and Unloading
Loading and unloading may be arranged for short durations
close to the site. Vehicles will be required to move to the appropriate
parking location upon completion of the loading or unloading of
materials.
