Parking

NCSU Transportation strives to provide excellent service to the NC State University community and to our visitors. As with most universities, parking demand exceeds parking supply. Parking permits are required campus wide. We offer special permits for some types of vehicles and events.

Departmental Parking Permits

Departments may purchase parking permits for vehicles that park on campus. Permits will be issued based on the need and use of the vehicle.

Permit Renewals

Employee parking permits are valid for three years with payroll deductions automatically extended. Permits are mailed to the employee's home address on record with Human Resources. If an employee is currently not paying for their permit via payroll deduction, the employee may choose the payroll deduction option and renew his/her permit using Employee Self Service in MyPack Portal.

Those who wish to renew their permit online via credit card will need an access code that is provided in their permit renewal assignment letter. Those wishing to renew via check should be sure to include their Campus ID number or Transportation Account number located on the renewal assignment letter.
