Student Move-In Friday, August 15 - Sunday, August 17, 2014

Welcome to NC State! Please view Move-In information to assist in ensuring a stress free Move-In experience. Traffic Officers will provide assistance on Friday and Saturday and some traffic patterns and roadways are changed to assist Move-In operations. Students may also opt to move-in on Sunday (no special assistance and roadways revert back to normal travel patterns on Sunday).


Gotcha Ride NC State

Gotcha Ride is an eco-friendly transportation company that provides free evening rides (9 p.m. - 3 a.m.) for students and faculty both on and off campus. Gotcha Ride uses a fleet of 100% electric vehicles that are driven by students, so it is truly a peer-to-peer experience. Wolfpack Pick Up is an NC State pilot transportation program sponsored by Dean, Academic and Student Affairs (DASA). Wolfpack Pick Up uses Gotcha Ride vehicles and drivers to transport students with health conditions that affect mobility to and from classes. Service hours are 7:45 a.m. - 5:15 p.m. beginning January 27. For more information, visit the Wolfpack Pick Up website. Reservations are required. View service areas.


Get your GoPass

Use your GoPass to travel the Triangle via city (CAT) and regional (TT) buses. <<<more>>>

Faculty/Staff are also eligible to participate in the GoPass program for an annual $25 pre-paid fee - major credit cards accepted.

No pass or ID is needed to ride the University's transit system, Wolfline - just stand at a Wolfline bus stop.


Zipcar (carsharing)

Zipcar is a car-share program offering the convenience of car ownership without the hassle or expense of maintaining a car on campus. NC State has four vehicles available. For more info, visit www.zipcar.com/ncsu.
