Traffic Impacts - Dan Allen Drive Restricted Access

The access gate in the vicinity of the railroad crossing on Dan Allen Drive. Gates operates from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Restricting access during these times helps Wolfline buses to maintain schedules and increases pedestrian safety on Dan Allen Drive.

Transit vehicles, University vehicles with (SV) or (UV) permits and emergency vehicles have access during hours of gate operation.
No other through (north/south) traffic on Dan Allen Drive during these hours.

Order your GoPass online

Use your GoPass to travel the Triangle via city (CAT) and regional (TT) buses. Order your GoPass online and we'll mail it to you so that you'll be all set. Please allow 10 days for delivery; you cannot pick up a GoPass ordered online at the Transportation office. If you need your GoPass immediately, you will be charged a $5 "rush order" fee for walk-in pick up at the Transportation Office. <<<more>>>

Faculty/Staff are also eligible to participate in the GoPass program for an annual $25 pre-paid fee - major credit cards accepted; order online in early July; $5 "rush order" fee will be charged to Faculty/Staff who opt to walk in and pick up GoPass from the NCSU Transportation office.

No pass or ID is needed to ride the University's transit system, Wolfline - just stand at a Wolfline bus stop.


Zipcar (carsharing) is here!

Zipcar is a car-share program offering the convenience of car ownership without the hassle or expense of maintaining a car on campus. NC State has four vehicles available – one Prius hybrid, a Ford Focus, a Scion XB crossover & our newest member of the fleet, a Honda Civic.
