YES. Property, which is leased or on loan to the University, for which the University has a contractual responsibility to insure, can be covered through the IRM office. Just send an email to any of the staff at IRM describing the equipment including make, model, year, serial number, value, location, time period of lease, and pre-authorization form (IRM-03). IRM will make contact with you, insure the equipment, and bill your department with use of an IDT.
