YES. Students of participating Universities in the NC University System whom are engaging in paid or unpaid internships can be covered by the Student Intern Professional Liability coverage.

I dropped my Internship. Can I get a credit refund for the Intern Liability Insurance?

YES. IRM contacts Registration Records and confirms that the person has dropped the course before the drop/add date. Also, the student should not have performed any activity at the student intern location to be eligible to remove the charge. Once confirmation has been received, we request a credit to be issued back to the student for any charges previously charged against the student’s account.
