Registration for Standardized Tests

Information and Registration Bulletins for the GRE and the TOEFL are available in the Graduate Admissions Office in 106 Peele Hall. The GMAT Bulletin is available in the MSM Program Office in Nelson 132. The GRE, GMAT and TOEFL Bulletins can also be ordered on-line through the Educational Testing Service. For information on the MAT, call the Department of Psychology at 515-2251 or stop by 640E Poe Hall.

Test Preparation

The NC State Libraries have a number of study guides, handbooks, and computer programs to help students prepare for the tests. To find these items, search their Catalog.

The GRE is required for most of the graduate programs at NC State. In addition to the many GRE prep guides and handbooks available, D.H. Hill Library has the GRE practice software "POWERPREP Test Preparation for the GRE General Test and Math Review for the GRE General Test." POWERPREP includes actual tests, practice questions, and test-taking strategies. Check with the Reserve Desk at D.H. Hill Library.
