    • Same sample studied over time
      • E.G., NCSU’s First Year Survey, Sophomore Survey, Graduating Senior Survey, Alumni Survey
    • Why do a panel study?
      • Look at changes in responses from same sample over time
        (e.g., Sophomore Survey responses in 2000 to those same students’ responses to the Graduating Senior Survey in 2002; responses from Graduating Senior Survey compared to those given by the same people in the Alumni Survey)
