Strategic Plan
Recognizing the need for a new strategic plan to guide NC State, Chancellor
Oblinger initiated a process in fall 2005 to develop a new one. The
campus leadership - including deans, executive officers, faculty leadership,
and a department heads' representative - drafted a new plan for review
by faculty, students, and staff. The new plan was finalized after review
by the Board of Trustees in April 2006.

The next steps in strategic planning include the development of measures for monitoring progress toward the priorities identified in the plan, and developing implementation details. Details will be added as the planning process moves forward in 2006-07, during the next cycle of compact planning
