These calculations represent change of adding 1 SCH or adding 1 faculty FTE to current base. Future SCHs are projected each fall for the following budget year. SCHs in projection are used to compute change to base in funding requirements for budget process.
There is no stated policy that funding change to the institution implies funding change for department.
