Notes:

Funding formula is based on level and discipline of course. A new undergraduate takes courses in many disciplines, please refer to the crossover matrix for sums and ratios of course-taking patterns. Also, GA rules stipulate that SCHs are on-formula or off-formula, on-formula SCHs may then be fundable and non-fundable.

Based on current (2000-2001) funding formula productivity matrix, standard faculty salary, and support %s.

SCH per Faculty FTE = $64,923.00 / Purpose 101 subtotal.

These calculations represent change of adding 1 SCH or adding 1 faculty FTE to current base. Future SCHs are projected each fall for the following budget year. SCHs in projection are used to compute change to base in funding requirements for budget process.

There is no stated policy linking funding change to the institution with funding change for college or department.
