College and Department Exceptions
There are units on campus that have electronic collection of some or most of this information for and from faculty. There is no need to enter the information twice if it can be gathered from electronic sources outside this process.
College of Management Faculty
- Information stored in Digital Measures will be extracted and counted from that source.
- Faculty need to enter enter following measures not in Digital Measures:
- #4, 4a, 4b courses identified as on-line, blended, face-to-face and all else
- #30 Works in Progress
- #32-#37 any grants and contracts not in SPARCS database
Physics Department Faculty
- Departmental system will provide most measures.
- Faculty need to enter enter following measures:
- #2 courses redesigned
- #3 courses created
- #4, 4a, 4b courses by online, blended, face-to-face
- #14 students co-authored work
- #15 students co-presented
- #24 grant proposals reviewed
- #25 editorial positions
- #28 digital applications
- #30 works in progress
- #32-#37 any grants and contracts not in SPARCS database
College of Veterinary Medicine Faculty
- NCSU will not collect measures #1 to #4 for CVM faculty. The instructional definitions in Delaware measures #1 to #4 do not fit with the clinical courses and instructional methods used in CVM departments.
- Veterinary Medicine faculty are asked to enter measures for #11 and higher.
