Faculty Population in Survey

Your status as of September 30 will govern for the year. There will be cases where a spring status must be used such as those on leave or with half-year appointments

Who completes the survey:

• Includes tenured and tenure-track faculty.
• Includes non-tenure track faculty who are 0.75 FTE or more.
• Includes college and department administrators who are tenured or tenure-track.

More Details:

• Includes faculty who are on paid leave such as sabbatical.
• Includes those with rank modifiers such as clinical, extension, research, and teaching faculty.

Excludes:

• Faculty not on tenure track with less than 0.75 FTE appointment,
• Special faculty who are librarians,
• Field faculty.

The population reported to Delaware will be the tenured and tenure-track faculty only. In cases such as split appointments the Delaware definitions ask for the faculty FTE to be divided, the counts of measures would be divided as the FTE.
