Quality Enhancement Plan

The Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS - http://www.sacscoc.org/) requires, as a part of its reaffirmation of accreditation process, the creation of a Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP). According to the Principles of Accreditation, Page 9,

Engaging the wider academic community and addressing one or more
issues that contribute to institutional improvement, the plan should
be focused, succinct, and limited in length.

NC State University has chosen "Learning in a Technology-Rich Environment" (LITRE) as the topic of its Quality Enhancement Plan. Although initiated as part of the Accreditation process, the implementation of the LITRE plan will continue as an independent initiative.
